We look forward to getting this transition period out of the way and becoming SimplyFutbol.com.
Although our name will be different, we will still give you the coverage that has made you come to this site. On top of that, we will work on a Spanish edition to our site.
As far as our show... THAT will not change... that much.

Pacquiao and Mayweather? Oh, man... that would have been a chick hair-pulling match compared to what Mike and Lucas did. After being together and smoking the peace pipe for most of the show, their fervor for Boca and River respectively came out and they just unloaded on each other in a segment that could be considered radio gold or radio travesty depending on your tastes.
Today we talked about the excitement behind the matches at the African Cup of Nations as well as the latest in Argentina and in Spain.
Mike also talked about his new NBA show on ESPN Deportes while George began his stint at World Cup Examiner. Lucas also announced that Juan had officially become press secretary at We Are Futbol.
Without a doubt, Mad About Futbol is quickly growing and 2010 looks like a very promising year for the site and the guys.

The Mad About Futbol Show is back and stronger than ever. In the new season, we come back with all guns blazing.

We Are Futbol's Lucas Lugo makes his debut with us on the show. The Club Fenix star and new friend of the show holds no punches as he goes out to challenge El Pibe De Oro. Thus begins our weekly Superclasico on MAF.
While Lucas used him as a punching bag, Mike drove around town desperately looking for a mic. So we really missed him and the ambush will lead to a great throw down next week between the in-house Boca and River fans.
Kartik Krishnaiyer also made a cameo appearance talking about the latest regarding the US second division row and how he was ready to take on Carlton Prince regarding the US' chances in the World Cup. Since then, Mr. Prince pussied out of the appearance due to "personal commitments".
Also Serie A Live's Vince Cullotta dropped by to receive his MAF initiation and also talk a little about Serie A and his baby.

"The Tapper" Richard Farley is introduced officially as the newest member of the MAF team. We talk about the first round of Argentina as well as the latest goings-on with the Albiceleste as they prepare for the titanic clash against Brazil in Rosario. We also learn that he is able to multitask while doing a show as some girl was yelling in the room. He is the first person in the world that can do THAT and think about soccer at the same time.
We also find out about California Klingy... at first we thought it was a disease of the posterior netherregion, but Johnathan Starling taught it was the weight jettisoned by Bayern Munich last year.
He was also on board along with Kevin Walker to talk about the Champions League draw as well as other topics such as hooliganism and World Cup bids.
We were also able to have Kartik Krishnaiyer on to talk to us about the incredible week that has transpired in both USL and Miami FC as well as other pertinent issues that have emerged locally.

We also welcome in our second segment Mad About Fútbol's newest addition. Richard Farley is well-known for his work over at World Soccer Reader. His knowledge of leagues of all over the world is a hand-in-glove fit. He will be a perfect resource to inform the readers as well as to learn from. We gave him our typical MAF baptism and he was up to the task.

The elite teams are in the US sharpening their tools and getting read for battle in the Old Continent. Argentina is in in shambles and we're trying to find a way as to how to get butts in seats at Miami FC.
