Internacional continued their perfect start with a 1-0 road win against Goiás. Taison's 77th minute goal gave the Gaucho side their 3rd straight win as O Colorado have yet to give up a goal in the tournament and shutout a Goiás side that scored 3 goals in their 1st two matches.
Defending champion São Paulo continues their struggles to open the season with a 0-0 draw against Paulista rivals Palmeiras. The Tricolor Paulista are winless to start the Brasileirão and sit in 16th place in the standings.
Náutico continued their offensive onslaught with their 3-2 road win against Atlético Paranaense. Anderson Lessa scored twice including the game winner in the 82nd minute after Paranaense went up 2-0 on the Recife side. Náutico is unbeaten and sits in 2nd place with a goal differential advantage over Atlético Mineiro.
Atlético Mineiro defeated Náutico's arch-rival Sport 3-2 in Recife. Éder Luís' double in the match's opening 10 minutes helped Galo remain unbeaten in the tournament. The other unbeaten side got their 1st win of the campaign as Santos whipped Fluminense 4-1 at the Maracanã. Kléber Pereira scored twice late in the 2nd half to solidify the win for Peixe.
