The winner of the contest will be given the opportunity to tryout for a first division side in Spanish top flight.
For soccer fans in the United States that dream has become a greater reality as a player like Rogelio Funes Mori slipped through the cracks of the US youth soccer system and found himself at an important club such as River Plate in Argentina.
The production has hired none other than two of the greatest players to have ever stepped onto a football pitch in Zinédine Zidane and the former Real Madrid star's childhood idol, Enzo Francescoli.
This intense six-week process stay in a Madrid academy will take youngsters through a roller coaster ride of emotions and experiences alongside their two iconic "godfathers".
The participants will undergo an intense routine in which they will go through several challenges as well as batteries of tests that will not only implement on the pitch skills, but life skills as well. Part of the mission of the Madrid academy project are to try and consolidate what is being learned on the field and apply it in life.
The players will not only be evaluated by Francescoli and Zindane, but they will also be looked at by some of the top nutritionists, psychologists,and trainers in the business.
