BUNDESLIGA RECAP – ROUND 25

BAYER LEVERKUSEN IS NO LONGER THE LAST UNDEFEATED TEAM STANDING IN EUROPE. STEFAN KIESLING SCORED TO REMAIN ATOP OF THE GOLDEN BOOT RACE IN GERMANY, BUT IT WASN’T ENOUGH AS BAYER LEVERKUSEN DROPPED ITS FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON IN THE BUNDESLIGA AFTER LOSING 3-2 TO NURNBERG. THAT LEVERKUSEN LOSS OPENED THE RACE FOR THE BUNDESLIGA TITLE AS BAYERN MUNICH AND SCHALKE 04 TOOK ADVANTAGE AND JUMPED OVER BAYER LEVERKUSEN IN THE STANDINGS, WHO REMAINS JUST 3 POINTS FROM THE TOP DESPITE THEIR DEFEAT.
