Introduction of El Mexi Hick

Posted by Juan Arango 4.12.2010

Buenas a Todos!!!

First off, I would like to give a big shout-out to Juan Arango for giving me the opportunity to Blog with Simplemente Football. It has been a long, and hectic 2 years since first speaking with Juan, and I am finally in the position to BLOG on SIMPLEMENTE FOOTBALL. In the coming weeks, months, years; I will be focusing on the Mexican National Soccer Team AKA "El Tri". Raised in Monterrey, Mexico and educated in Eastern Washington (USA) and graduating from the University of Washington (Seattle) I plan on providing insight articles pertaining to not only factual but also biased BLOGS on EL TRI. I was raised playing baseball AND passionately following soccer; therefore, I would enjoy any kind of debate on my biased posts as that is what makes sports, competition and free speech great. I tend to blog on experiences and issues that I have experienced and hope everyone has an input on my blogs...with that being said...

My first blog will be titled LA JOVENTUD DE MEXICO (MEXICO'S YOUTH). This blog will focus on Mexico's future stars whom are actually current stars. As Mexico staggered from a #5 FIFA ranking to a #20 in 2006, many failed to realize what was occurring in the 2005 U-17 World Cup where future Mexican stars were emerging to become a powerhouse for the future Mexican National Squad...something interesting, however, many of these stars will not be found in Mexico since the 3-0 ass kicking of Brazil in the final. My first blog will give answers to the questions that many as..."Where did Carlos Vela, Giovanni Dos Santons, and Hector Moreno come from?" Furthermore, Javier Hernandez? Manchester United? Thats right... The first Mexican national player join Manchester United...oh, did i mention he's only 21 years old???

STAY TUNED!!!
