This round of World Cup qualifiers are over and left the world wanting more. We'll have to wait till June for the next round, thankfully we have club football to keep us satisfied. The team more simply known as VfL Wolfsburg had the most impressive result of the weekend when they smashed Bayern Munich 5-1 at home on Saturday. Die Wölfe scored 4 goals in a 14 minute stretch in the 2nd half to embarrass Bayern. Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko scored twice and Brazilian striker Grafite added 2 more goals to propel Wolfsburg to 1st place in the Bundesliga. Wolfsburg is the only unbeaten team at home this season in the Bundesliga and they have yet to lose in 2009. Die Wölfe are on an 8-game winning streak and if they keep it up they will win their 1st ever Bundesliga title.
