After much anticipation all throughout the Netherlands, Ajax came out with their first jerseys on Monday. Adidas did the right thing in leaving such a classic jersey as is. There were a few subtle changes keeping the Adidas brand consistent throughout its broad spectrum of kits. The Ajax jersey is similar to that of AC Milan's as far as their retro polo collar and sleeves are the same as the ones that Newcastle has in their newest kit. There you see the trademark Adidas three stripes go halfway down the sleeves.

What will be unique is the fact that these stripes will not appear in their uniform during league play. If there is one unique feature to this jersey, it's the inclusion of the coat of arms of the city of Amsterdam located in the back of the neck of the jersey.
