If you were watching the final of Roland Garros, one man upstaged Roger Federer's historic career slam. A man jumped on the court and tried to "give" the Swiss superstar a barretina (the Catalan traditional hat) as well as a banner. I guess it was a sign of generosity that he thought would have the same reaction that Carlos Moyá did a few years back. It wasn't the case, nor should it have been.

"Pay attention to me!"

For people in the United States, he was just yet another streaker that floods Europe all the time. In Barcelona, his presence made them just hold their cllective heads in shame. It was a frightening moment for any tennis fan as shades of Monica Seles came to life yet again. Although the guilty culprit did not have any intention of doing damage to the eventual Roland Garros winner, he did derail him mentally. I mean who wouldn't? This is why one cannot condone these types of actions.

"His target is to make the whole world laugh at his funny and great performances.

Yes, I spelled indifferent.

Jimmy Jump is arguably one of the biggest "celebrities" in the streaking world. He's been at events like the Euro 2008 semis when he wore a shirt saying "Tibet is not China". He has also made his presence felt at events like the Spanish Grand Prix, the Spanish derby in 2005.

He has also made his presence felt in various Champions League finals (this year was no exception) and sort of foreshadowed the arrival of a certain player to the Blaugrana back in 2006.

That time around, I guess you can say that he helped Greece. You can call him a low-budget Borat or Bruno, but despite him being harmless in the end, he is still a danger to fans and athletes in any event.
People like Jimmy Jump have given a black eye to Barcelona fans. Although one cannot say that he is doing the same thing that the Boixos Nois are; but it does expose players to the dangers of the world we live in.

For years, Europeans battled this type of nuisance and have done a great job in containing it to a degree. The thing is that for every Jimmy Jump that does this for the love of the "game", there are maniacs like the man that stabbed Monica Seles, or even worse.
