The love you have for a child is the greatest in the world. There is no feeling in the world like it. From the time you see them in the womb to the time they come out for the first time and every moment thereafter, they are a gift to one's life. You always believe that they are they are going to become a doctor or a lawyer or an astronaut. They are the greatest thing in the world and they are the ones that are going to make sliced bread look like stale bread in comparison. I can truly understand when they all say that their child is the greatest thing in the world.

The problem I have is with those parents that believe that their kids are the greatest and they are going to go to any extreme to not only prove it to the world; but to themselves. There is this belief that these individuals have to force their kids to go further than anyone else and in some cases putting them at risk.

This is the case with former Bolivian international coach Julio Cesar Baldivieso. The current coach of Bolivian side Aurora decided to use one of his youth players in the final minutes of the match against La Paz FC.

Out of the bench come a 12-year-old boy who looked more like he should have been a ball boy; he started to warm up and was ready to make history as the youngest player to ever start in a professional football match in that country. His experience was one to remember for how painful it was. What his coach-father forgot to consider is that he is still a child and was going to be playing against mature men that were not going to give young Mauricio any slack because of his age or his name.

Jenry Alcalá was sure of that when he cracked Baldivieso on his ankle and the young boy proved his age when he was on the ground on tears. The Aurora supporters gave him an ovation when he returned to the pitch to finish his duties.

"I am proud of my son. He is very talented," said Baldivieso after his team lost 1-0. "That foul was a crime. Everyone was a criminal, even the referee,"

Well, dude don't put a kid in a man's game.
