While Mexican sides believe bigger is better as far as jersey sponsors are concerned, Cruz Azul hit it right on the spot making things smaller.
Although there are two sponsors on their kit, they do not upstage as much as jerseys like Santos, Indios, and Chivas are concerned. The presentation was nothing short of first class as Cruz Azul gave the club that traditional Mexican background.
Umbro did a great job of making the sponsors smaller albeit having both the traditional Cemento Cruz Azul and Powerade on the front of the jersey was still too much.
The red and white V collar was a great addition to this year’s look as Los Cementeros have parted from the modern day status quo of templates and designs that have various teams looking the same.
The second jersey is white with diagonal blue stripes. The difference is that the Umbro logo is located in the center of the jersey as compared to the top right of the shoulder.
