Executives from Argentine side Boca Juniors will be in Miami next week to announce their first US-based academy that is scheduled to open in the coming days. The Argentine giants will be making their partnership with Miami Strike Force official on Monday .

Boca already has academies in place throughout Central, South America, and Mexico, but this is a groundbreaking moment for the Xeneize stateside.

"The goal is to create similar associations in cities with important Hispanic population,"said Boca's US representative Juan Carlos Mojica. "Not only do we want to expand our fanbase internationally, but also be able to teach and promote the sport to children. Especially the children of Hispanic parents here in the United States so they can better follow the game."

The players that are part of the academy will be trained under the tutelage of former Colombian international Luis Carlos Perea. Perea was the anchor in the middle of the Colombian national team in the late 80's and mid 90's. He was also part of the Atlético Nacional side that won the Copa Libertadores back in 1989.

The official announcement will be made at a press conference on Monday over at The Knife Restaurant at Bayside.

Boca Juniors are the most successful side at the international level (alongside AC Milan) as they have won 18 international titles. They have also won 23 domestic titles in Argentina.
