It hasn’t been even 4 days since Claudio Borghi won the Argentine League with Argentinos Juniors, today it was confirmed he will succeed Tito Pompei in one of the most popular and succesful clubs in South America, Boca Juniors.

Borghi met with Boca Junior’s president Amor Ameal, and they agreed on a one-year contract, his salary will be around U$750,000, making him one of the higest paid coaches in the Argentine league behind Ramon Diaz (San Lorenzo) and Miguel Angel Russo (Racing).

Besides his contract, they discussed the arrival of new signings, which will include Clemente Rodriguez (His contract with Estudiantes expires and he will not renew), Juan Mercier (Argentinos Juniors), Insaurralde (Newell’s) and Matias Caruzzo(Argentinos Juniors).
