Queiroz could lose job after investigation

Although his team is looked at as underachieving, Portugal did have the distinct honor of having the best defense of the tournament in the past World Cup.

How ironic that coach Carlos Queiroz has no defense as the final results of an investigation that was made by the Portuguese Institute of Sport (IDP) after Queiroz was accused of inappropriate behavior in the preparation stage prior to the World Cup.

This investigation was sent to the Portuguese Football Federation and the president is already looking at their options According to Portuguese sports daily Record, Portuguese Football Federation president Gilberto Madaíl is looking to rescind Queiroz' contract "amicably" but has appealed to "just cause" after the investigation stated that Queiroz verbally assaulted medical staff of the Portuguese Antidoping Authority (ADoP) that were in charge of drug testing the national team while they were training in the Portuguese city of Covilhá back in May 16th.  

He is also being of could of verbal abuse and inappropriate language as some of his insults were thrown in the direction of ADoP president Luis Horta. 

In Portugal that is considered a crime as he is seen as obstructing justice that has financial fines ranging from €3,500 to €10,000.  According to president

According to the administration at the IDP, this was a "serious and delicate offense".  If it wasn't the case they would not have undergoe such an intensive investigation.
