Roberto Abbondanzieri now heads to Brazil (Futbol Real)
As was tweeted on Monday night, a report published on South American Fútbol came true on Tuesday when Boca goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri made the rumored move to Internacional.

It could end up being a blessing in disguise for to have been demoted in the end for ex-Boca goalkeeper as Inter are making every effort to bolster up their roster for their two-fronted assault in both Copa Libertadores as well as domestically.

The former Argentine international was being asked for by Inter coach Jorge Fossati and things moved quickly especially after Boca coach Abel Alves relegated Abbondanzieri to the bench in favor of youth player Javier García.

"El Pato's" departure from La Boca is a result of the current fallout as change is in the air around the Argentine giants.

Abbondanzieri will be the third Argentine on the squad as he will join both Andrés D'Alessandro and Pablo Guiñazú. He should be making his arrival to Porto Alegre on Wednesday to sign with his new team and be presented to the fans.

Although Inter were able to obtain one of their desired players, the possibility of getting Boca scoring ace Martín Palermo seems more of a reach.
